Royal Dutch Shell posted a record profit of $27.6 billion for 2007
The world’s second-largest non-government controlled oil company by market value said on Thursday its fourth-quarter current cost of supply (CCS) net income rose 11 percent to $6.7 billion.
Hmm how can it be the Oil Companies say the demand for oil is the reason for the expencive Gassoline prices, but they are making more and more profit every year and its all Oil Comapnies that have this “problem”. We have seen that the last about 7 years.
The real thing is, they know they have Oil for another 30-50 years and they have ALOT of good “media blown up” reason to say we have to raise prices. They are also not building more Refineries be cause that is also keeping the price high, so Why invest in Refineries and earn less.
Still I hate to see cartell sheme, every Gasstation almost have the same prices and the wierd thing is you suddently see Shell raise there prices, then 10 min. later Esso does the same, thats a example, then it goes all around.
